Hi y’all! Welcome to my blog! I’ll start by introducing myself! My name is Alyssa, or Marley, or Mars, depending on how you know me. I’m a man of many names, what can I say? For as long as I can remember, I’ve been writing. My first book, published in my childhood home in Ohio, was the story of my imaginary friendship with the roster of my favorite soccer team. I like to think I’ve gotten a bit more creative since. As silly as it may be, my writing is my art, and I believe that ones art is meant to be shared. So here I am, creating a digital diary to share with the world (or my parents, wife, and few friends who will actually read this). On this page I plan to share my writings, be it the poems from my notes app or the thoughts by which I process the world around me. Meaningless, inconsequential, vulnerable, and hopefully at least a little bit entertaining. So welcome, whoever you are, I hope you choose to stay a while.
